Meet Jennifer

At Ponderosa Occupational Therapy and Coaching, I treat patients with the understanding that true wellness is not only about the physical body, but also about the mental and emotional well-being of the individual. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with patients experiencing post-concussion symptoms, chronic pain and fatigue, and long-covid. I provide tailored approaches that promote reengagement, and improving their overall quality of life. I will work with you to develop a customized plan that includes the right combination of support, resources for self-management, and understanding the root of your illness, to help you achieve optimal health.

Meet Jennifer
Why OT?

Why Choose Occupational Therapy?

An Occupational Therapist is a regulated allied health professional who looks at your engagement in activities as a measure of health as well as a means to recovery from to illness, injury or disability. OT can help with:

Woods with Fog

Fatigue

The effects of fatigue impact your ability to care for yourself, connect with others, and live a full life. Our Occupational Therapy services will help you understand where you can take steps towards healing, using your energy to get back to the activities you love, and feeling in control of your life.

'Brain Fog'

Living with chronic pain, fatigue or mental illness usually means your ability to think clearly is compromised. Living with brain-fog, compromised memory or difficulty thinking on the spot can be discouraging and debilitating. Our Occupational Therapy services can help you understand where your brain has gone and how to get it back. We'll provide you with tools and strategies to focus, prioritize, and show up as your true self with friends, family, and at work.

Sensory Sensitivity

Chronic illness usually includes the experience of widespread pain, numbness, tingling and sensitivity to lights and sounds that can cause you to withdraw from the activities you love to do. Occupational Therapy can help you ease the discomfort and find the right coping strategies to get balance back in your life.
